Job Title: Final Inspector (Entry-Level)
Job Type: Full time M-F, 7:00 am - 3:30pm
Reports To: Director of Quality
Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Final Inspector. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, grow, and eventually take on leadership responsibilities within the company. You will assist in inspecting electronic assemblies and components, ensuring they meet our quality standards. Training will be provided on industry guidelines, equipment operation, and inspection techniques. As you develop, you will also learn to guide others and communicate effectively across teams.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Inspection and Quality Control:
- Learn to inspect electronic assemblies, including Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Through-Hole Technology (THT), following IPC-A-610 standards.
- Assist in verifying product specifications using BOMs, drawings, and inspection criteria.
- Support process checks and help identify defects under supervision.
Equipment Operation and Testing:
- Receive training to operate inspection tools and equipment (e.g., microscopes, X-ray machines).
- Assist with basic board testing under guidance.
- Help maintain equipment and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Leadership and Communication:
- Develop skills to educate and support other team members when defects are found.
- Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors regarding quality issues.
- Participate in discussions with AOI technicians to learn how to identify and implement process improvements.
- Build confidence in guiding peers as you gain experience.
Documentation and Continuous Learning:
- Learn to follow and update work instructions as directed.
- Support documentation tasks and help maintain organized records.
- Take initiative to expand knowledge of quality standards and processes.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical training or coursework is a plus.
- No prior experience necessary - training will be provided.
- Interest in electronics manufacturing and quality control.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions.
- Good communication skills and desire to develop leadership abilities.
Compensation:
Starting Pay: $37,000 – $41,000 annually (approx. $18–$20/hour)- Potential Growth: Up to $45,000+ annually with experience and certifications

- Travel: Some travel may be required for offsite training
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods while performing inspections.
- Manual dexterity for handling small components and tools.
Working Conditions:
- Production environment with exposure to electronic components and testing equipment.
- Some noise and light from machinery.
